Inaugural Concours des Légendes Comes to Wilton House

Something truly spectacular is coming to Salisbury later this month. The inaugural Concours des Légendes is taking over the stunning grounds of Wilton House from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 June 2026.

This isn’t a standard classic car show where vehicles sit quietly on a lawn. Created by the 18th Earl of Pembroke, it’s an immersive, story-led cultural festival that pairs world-class machinery with the legendary icons who actually built, designed, and raced them.

The guest list represents a landmark line-up for motoring enthusiasts. The following names are confirmed to appear live on the Legends Stage:

  • Andy Green OBE: The fastest man on Earth and the only human to break the sound barrier on land.Derek Bell MBE: Five-time Le Mans winner and motorsport royalty.
  • Tiff Needell: Renowned racing driver and iconic television broadcaster.Nick Mason: Pink Floyd drummer, world-famous car collector, and five-time Le Mans competitor.
  • Ross Brawn OBE & Frank Stephenson: The visionary minds behind dominant Formula 1 championships and iconic modern supercars.

From live panel talks and narrated displays to a massive Sunday Supercar drive-in featuring 100 high-performance vehicles, the event promises an unforgettable weekend.

Key highlights of the event include:

  • Sir Jackie Stewart’s Race Against Dementia Charity Helmet: This piece of motorsport history represents the three-time F1 World Champion’s tireless fight to fund breakthrough dementia research.
  • The Literary Stage: Hosting a dedicated feature talk titled Stirling Moss: My Racing Life. This will sit alongside a reunion of classic Ferraris driven by British icons Moss, Mike Hawthorn, and John Surtees.
