Ballet Under the Stars is held annually at Hatch House near Tisbury. Staged within a 17th-century walled Dutch garden, the event has grown from an audience of fewer than 100 guests to over 400 per evening across three consecutive nights.
The setting is transformed into a fully covered dinner theatre, where audiences experience a programme of twelve short works – spanning classical, neo-classical and contemporary repertoire – interwoven with a three-course dinner.
This year’s performances welcome a truly star-studded international cast in celebration of the company’s 20-year anniversary. Audiences will experience exceptional artistry from Myriam Ould-Braham and Mickaël Lafon of the Paris Opera Ballet, alongside Xander Parish and Joy Womack representing the Mariinsky Ballet. They are joined by leading artists from the English National Ballet, including Zai Calliste and Taela Rose Graff, among many others, creating an extraordinary evening that brings together some of the finest talent on the international stage.
Covent Garden Dance celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, marking two decades of presenting world-class ballet and dance in some of the most distinctive settings in the UK and internationally. Since its founding in 2006, the company has established a clear and enduring identity: bringing world-class dancers, choreographers and musicians from the leading international companies into intimate, carefully curated environments, and pairing performance with exceptional hospitality. What began as a small-scale production has evolved into a recognised international platform, with sold-out seasons across multiple countries and a loyal, global audience.
