Get out the mixing bowl and icing ready for Dinghams Baking Competition, a brand new event for the 2012 Salisbury Food and Drink Festival Dinghams Cookshop are hosting a fantastic baking competition for local bakers, young and old, Bring your baking masterpiece and brink it along for judging at the Guildhall on Sunday 16 September at 2pm, as part of the Sunday Food and Drink Market.
All cake creations need to be baked and decorated around the theme of Salisbury and will be judged in two age categories: up to 14 years old and over 14 years old at 3.30pm. Don’t miss out on a chance to win fantastic prizes from Dinghams Cookshop and have some fun getting messy making your cakes!
The Baking Competition is a part of this year’s Salisbury Food and Drink Festival which runs from Sunday 9-16 September 2012 with fun activities for all the family everyday throughout the week building up to the great Food and Drink Market on Sunday 16 September from 10am-4pm. Over 70 stallholders will be selling delicious local produce and with FREE entertainment such as live music, street theatre, cookery demonstrations and the family egg and spoon race, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.
