Sky 1’s comedy drama Agatha Raisin & the Quiche of Death was mainly shot in the village of Biddestone near Chippenham.

Corsham High Street doubled as Truro in the first series of the BBC’s production of Poldark starring Aiden Turner. Scenes were filmed in Great Chalfield Manor for series two.

Wolf Hall

Filmed in Bradford on Avon’s Tithe Barn and Castle Combe were used for the BBC historical drama. Great Chalfield Manor’s interiors stood in for Thomas Cromwell’s home. The outside of Lacock Abbey stood in for Wolf Hall, the Seymour family seat.

Shot at Trafalgar Park (doubling as the army HQ) near Salisbury

The lake at Fonthill Bishop, near Tisbury was used for river scenes. The film starred Johnny Depp
