Wiltshire’s Blind Houses

Blind Houses in Wiltshire date back to the 18th Century. The small stone buildings were used as local lock ups and they were windowless, hence the name.

The Blind House in Box is one of the best preserved as little has changed. It features in the film short Confines, which won three awards at the I AM Film Festival.
