Film short shot in Wiltshire wins at at I AM Film Festival

Following the success of his Multi-Award Winning film Censure, Emmy Nominated Director Richard Bazley continues his winning streak with his latest film Confines (starring Luke F Dejahang and Vivien Taylor) with three awards at The I AM Film Festival in London.

The 19 minute film, written by Neil Bason, was mainly shot around Corsham and Box in 2022. It’s about the confines of the mind. The official website describes it as: “Trapped in the confines of his mind we follow our Protagonist through his torment and lament. A thought provoking journey we go through his mental emotional rollercoaster with him to an exhilarating climax that will literally take you to the edge!”

Look out for the stately home Corsham Court and The Blind House, a grade 11 listed building in Box. The Blind House used to be a jail cell and was so called because it has no windows.

The awards for Confines were:

  • Best Cinematography – John E Fry
  • Honourable Mention Best Director – Richard Bazley
  • Honourable Mention Best actor – Luke F Dejahang

John in based in Salisbury and is Director of Photography at Fry film Productions.
