The Gurston Down Hillclimb season opened with a two day event starting on Saturday 21st April.

Best Time of the Weekend (27.87 seconds) was set on Saturday by Tony Wiltshire (number 168)  in his ultra-quick 2.5 litre V6-powered Gould GR55.

In the Gates of Brockenhurst Gurston Down Hillclimb Championship on Sunday 22nd April, frequent heavy rain showers made for slippery conditions on track. Southampton’s James White (number 108) earned the highest score of the day in his 1.4 Mini Clubman and won the modified series production car class (up to 1400cc)

Motorbikes were also a feature on the Sunday and Tom Short  (number 10) from Devon scored the bike best time of the day with 35.62 seconds on his 470cc Honda CRF.
